OldPic — Terms of Use

1. The agreement

These terms govern your use of the OldPic mobile application. By installing or using OldPic you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

2. What OldPic does

OldPic uses your phone's camera to digitise printed photographs: it finds the edges of a photo, corrects its perspective, adjusts colour and contrast, and saves a high-resolution file on your device.

All of this happens on your device. OldPic does not require an account and does not upload your photographs.

3. Your photographs are yours

You keep all rights to every photograph you scan. We claim no licence, ownership or right of use over them. We cannot access them.

You are responsible for having the right to scan the photographs you scan.

4. Free plan and Premium

Free: 20 complete scans at full quality, with no watermark. All 20 are yours to keep and export.

Once the free scans are used, new scans require Premium. Photographs you have already scanned remain available, editable and exportable — reaching the limit never removes access to what you already have.

Premium is sold as:

Lifetime — a one-time purchase.
Yearly — an auto-renewing subscription.

Prices are shown in your local currency by the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase.

5. Purchases, renewal and cancellation

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and their terms apply alongside these.

Auto-renewing subscription. A yearly subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancelling stops future renewals and does not refund the current period.

Restoring. "Restore purchases" in Settings recovers a previous purchase on the same Apple or Google account, on any device.

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through their stores.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use OldPic to break the law or infringe anyone's rights, and do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app except as applicable law allows.

7. What we promise, and what we do not

OldPic is provided "as is". We work to make scanning accurate and reliable, but we do not guarantee that every photograph will be detected correctly, that processing will suit every image, or that the app will be free of errors.

Your originals are your responsibility. OldPic keeps the untouched capture of every scan on your device and is built so that a crash cannot leave a half-written file — but it is not a backup service. Keep your physical photographs, and back up your device.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under Turkish consumer legislation.

8. Availability and changes

We may update the app, and may change or discontinue features. If we materially reduce what a Premium purchase provides, we will say so before the change takes effect.

9. Ending this agreement

You may stop using OldPic at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your right to use the app if you materially breach these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence continue to apply.
